About

About & standards

Alpine Frequency is an independent cultural guide to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, centred on electronic music and the social life of the mountains.

How we verify

  • Every event links to an official source — the organiser, the venue, an official ticketing page or the tourist office — and shows the date we last checked it.
  • We label each listing: Confirmed Check details Awaiting dates Editorial pick
  • We never fill a quiet week with invented or unconfirmed events.
  • Structured data for search engines is generated only from confirmed listings.

Independence & labels

  • Listings and recommendations are free and editorial. Mentioning a venue, artist or brand does not imply a partnership.
  • Sponsored content, if any, is labelled and names the partner: Sponsored
  • Our team also runs Groove Time, an events project. Its content is always labelled: From our team · Groove Time

Photos

We only publish photos we took or are licensed to use. We don't present AI-generated images as documentation of real places or events.

Languages

Chamonix welcomes people from all over the world, so the site is available in several languages. Our reporting is written in English first; translations follow, and anything not yet translated is marked as such.
